Making Good Decisions

Yet a quick look at the big successes around us point to small beginnings.
MacDonald’s was born of a hotdog stand whose owners had no ambition to expand. Google started as a research project on backlinks on the world wide web, which itself started when Tim Berners-Lee sought a solution to his problem of finding information on other databases. The international Red Cross began with one man rounding up some villagers to tend the wounded in war.

Schedule Your Priorities
You will never be able to do everything that you want to, because there is limited time available to all of us. Some things are going to be left undone, and that’s a given. What you can decide though, is what gets left undone.
With proper planning, the stuff that gets left undone will be the non-essentials. Your priorities will be taken care of because you have worked this into your schedule before anything else is allowed into it.
For most people, the best timeframe to schedule your priorities would be weekly. If you prefer a monthly timeframe, this is fine too, especially if you have monthly goals to achieve. The idea is to get past the trap of daily to-do lists that are based on external pressures rather than your inner purpose. Read more…
